I'll deal with how Mitsubishi's HD1000U stacks up against the competition, in the Summary section, but let's say, like with the Panasonic, I was definitely impressed

Set up was easy, I am about 15ft back with it on a coffee table and throwing a 106" image.

PC games, although look great on big screen the resoltion is just OK comapred to my LCD.

Very bright and sharp image in all modes but High def is amazing for a projecter of this cost.

I have to say there aren't many, maybe the fact that the fixed offset leaves you few placement options.

Good but not great for PC

 

Beautiful image, bright, decent remote, no rainbow effect (at least for me), worked nicely with my PS3 over HDMI.

It will *NOT* correctly produce a 1:1 pixel mapping image for the PC on the VGA input at 1280x720.
