Philips PicoPix Max One Review

1080p (1920-by-1080) native resolution ; Built-in battery lasts up to 5 hours ; Inputs include HDMI and USB-C ; Can power a streaming stick ; Powered focus

All modes show slight blue-green bias ; No 3D support ; Defocuses as it warms up, requiring refocusing

The Philips PicoPix Max One throws a bright image for a small projector, and its image quality is passable for home and business use, but the powered focus has some annoying flaws.

Take movie night with you with this pint-sized projector that boasts built-in apps, a three-hour battery life, and a surprisingly sharp image.

Excellent auto-focus feature ; 3 hour battery life ; Smooth operation, no lag ; Full 1080p, with up to 120-inch diagonal projection ; Bright, crisp image with excellent color ; Built-in apps with the ability to download more ; 30,000-hour bulb life

Remote requires direct line of site to operate ; Mediocre sound quality ; Steep price compared to traditional projectors
