Toshiba TDP-MT200 Projector Review

Toshiba TDP-MT200 Wide VGA DLP Projector, featuring the DMD Dark Chip, is a good start to a build Home Theater. With more color segments on the Color Wheel, and a higher Vertical Sync rate and digital input, the rainbow effect is virtually eliminated....

With a DVI-HDCP digital input, the projector's RS232 port for controlling the projector from computer, VGA input for PC, high contrast and the matching brightness, the MT200 projector is a fair choice for Home Theater and Business applications....

Toshiba MT500 Projector Review

There are folks who want the highest performance possible in a home theater projector and are willing to pay premium dollars for it. Conversely, there are those who want the best picture they can get for the least possible outlay. Then there are those...

Overall, the MT500 is a superb video projector as long as you do not push it beyond its limitations. For those who have a dark viewing space and want or need an image that is 90" diagonal or less, the MT500 represents a great value for the money.

There isnt much to complain about with the MT200, If you are looking for an excellent projector for a large room this is the best option, but the short throw distance might put people off who want a giant screen.

Excellent colour Reproduction, Bright image, Good Contrast Ratio,

Slight Flyscreen, Long throw distance

Toshiba MT500 Projector

There was a time when home cinema was the realm of the true enthusiast. I can vividly remember ordering LaserDiscs from the most obscure sources, just so I could watch high-quality movies at home. For me VHS was so appallingly bad that I couldn't bring...

Toshiba TDP-MT200 review

A vibrant DLP projector made for movies

Great film performance ; Quiet in operation ; No 'rainbow effect'

Only really designed for movies ; Mac images not that sharp ; Menu system confusing and slow to use

An otherwise excellent unit marred by its desktop display results and a slightly haughty price tag

Toshiba TDP-MT200 DLP Projector

With Projectors becoming more and more affordable, the option of owning one for footie matches and movie nights is becoming a reality. Toshiba has produced the MT200 a budget model, to suit the middle market. But can it deliver?

Bright image, ready to go out of the box, HD ready

No Scart connection

Overall, this nice tidy little unit will not break the bank. The easy use and lack of technical setup required will certainly appeal to those venturing into projector land for the first time.

Toshiba TDP-MT200

Part of Toshiba's home projector range, the TDPMT200 is specifically designed to be a movie projector. This largely comes from the use of the widescreen DLP technology, which is perfect for showing films

Great film performance, Quiet in operation, No 'rainbow effect'

Only really designed for movies, Mac images not that sharp, Menu system confusing and slow to use

An otherwise excellent unit marred by its desktop display results and a slightly haughty price tag
