A projector with basic features, but the price is right

Value for money

Not the best picture ; No digital HD inputs

Viewsonic's projector offers decent value for money, but just isn't that impressive

Viewsonic PJD6211 DLP projector

A 3D projector for less The Viewsonic PJD6211 is the first projector we have seen that’s able to bring 3D images into the home. Currently all the rage among manufacturers, 3D technology allows ...

Opaque?

I know what you mean about high level people and the lens cap. I don't think the guy that bad mouthed you comprehended what you are saying. If the cap were a different color, the high level people would save themselves the embarrassment.

Thinking about it

The person putting down others

Great Product

Works better than I thought it would and I've been using it most recently to project a giant 8' screen for Halo:Reach and the images are crisp and flow smoothly

I have the projector sitting on the top shelf of a built in book shelf and because there is not an option to move the screen up or down I have to set the projector upside-down with a little wooden block underneath it to get the desired screen position...

Great for Art Enlargement, Big Image

I haven't used this for watching movies, only for blowing up JPEGs to double garage door size for enlarging art projects, which it's terrific for. It's bright enough that you can see it in daylight, but at that size, it does help to dim the lights. ...

Great resolution for the price, easy connection, auto-cool down, easy focus and zoom

No HDMI interface. (Not a big deal, since all my computers have VGA out or that ridiculous Mac, Mini-display adapter to VGA)

Impartial shipment

Thinking I might have to refuse this delivery

The box that did come looked a little crunchy, was someone using it as a stool

The Mount and 80" screen didn't arrive in the shipment

Generally speakiing it's GREAT

I work in IT and support this projector - the biggest question I get is "why is the picture so fuzzy"? It's a bit embarrassing to walk into a room full of high level executives to remove the lens cap (the cap is opaque). I'd be nice if the cap was dark...

It's great, we've used it for nearly a year and it's been reliable and 'smart' (eg: it won't let you shut it off before it cools down)

The lamp is not centered. This may be an OCD thing, but seriously... I have to position the project on the right SIDE of the table to get the image to display in the center of the screen

Excellent Value 3D Projector

If you want to experience 3d at a reasonable price and have a wall to project on there isn't much downside to getting this projector. In case you don't know, to get 3d you will need a projector such as this or a monitor that can support 120hz, an...

Value: For under $600 this projector exceeded all my expectations ; Image Quality: Excellent. Good contrast, native resolution sufficient and compatible with 720p ; Brightness: Excellent. Sufficiently bright in a controlled light environment. Important...

This is not a home theater projector so it doesn't have HDMI or component inputs. These are usually required to get HD video but with a couple work arounds i have my computer and PS3 running in HD. Set top box still to come
