Pleased with purchase overall.. The lens cap thing really irritates me. I guess this is what you get for $850.

Excellent Definition, focus ring, design. No issues with contrast. Great settings software

No lens cap. Somewhat incomplete height adjustment legs (You can only adjust the left side height)

Fine if you don't live over 4900ft

 

After about 4 hours on the bulb, it started shutting off the picture, kicking the fan to high, and LED started blinking error codes. After 4th shutdown in a row, each after about 10-15 min of viewing. I issued an RMA. This could have been a faulty...

Vivitek H1080FD = AWESOME!

 

The 1080p is SO worth it. The Blu-Ray movies are so freaking amazing. I don't even goto movie theaters anymore. It's cheaper to stay home and watch the awesome movie at my house with my wife or friends and we can chat it up as loud as we want.
