No Support for this Great Remote

 

This remote has served me well for 3 years, and I never had a problem until recently when I had to reinstall the software on a new computer.

You no longer can download the software.

Be careful because Universal no longer lets the consumer download the update database so you will have to program the remote yourself if you get a new device i.

You CAN still download software

 

I've had two of these remotes for several years.

You can no longer update the software using the update feature.

Not supported!

 

Probably a sweet remote, from what everyone else has said.

Remote DOES NOT WORK without the software for it, which is not included in purchase.

We bought this remote together with a Parasound home theater controller and programmed it to our special needs.

Somehow a bit battery energy consuming device.

Very, very nice!

 

I have programmed a total of three of these remote, one of which is mine.

Requires a serial port for connection (my Asus A8N-SLI has one =P), but most laptops don't have that one, and must rely on an adaptor.
