Terrible

Would not waste my money of buying a Bush product again, the after sales service is a waste of time and effort as it gets you no where. I'll be buying the cheap ones from now on and replace them when they stuff up which always seems to be just out of...

It is easy to set up and use which is about the only good thing going for this HD Set top box.

Like everyone else I purchased 2 of these STB's from the Guys store based on the recommendation of the sales assistant. After about 6 months I started to get pixelation distortion on and off. I eventually had the aerial checked and they found nothing...

Good

Fixed the freezing issue. Replaced 2x 470uf 10volt with 470uf 16volt capacitors in the power section. They are beside each other toward the outer of the PCB and you may notice the tops are bulged out. Easy fix and will last longer than the original parts.

Cost me $1.50 (for parts to fix)

Was given to me as it didnt work. Was told the picture used to freeze

Terrible

i wouldn't recommend it to anyone its a waste of money i only got it cause it was on special no wonder why it was on special they know its a faulty product and they still sell it

easy set up

Ive had the HD set top box for just over a year and its started to freeze even though there is sound for no reason i even have a digital antenna i have to turn it off at the power point and turn it back on to reset it

OK

Fine if you want a cheap STB and have good digital reception or antenna in your area. I will ring bush and see if they will still replace it even though 12mth warranty has expired.

Easy to set up light and small.

Nothing besides the fact that after 12 months of use the screen started freezing with the sound continuing. I have to switch it off and on at the main switch at the back as all buttons and channels will not work until reset.

phone customer service even if it is out of warranty - under statutory warranty manufacturers have to ensure the product provided is suitable for the purpose, even after the warranty period ends. We did, and they sent out a replacement, which has...

The ease of setup and cost-though in hindsight I would have been prepared to pay more for a unit that is more reliable

the fact that soon after warranty ended our first unit started to freeze, now the replacement is also freezing

Terrible

Only about 3 weeks ago I wrote a review praising this unit as quite good. Well I've certainly changed my opinion now. I was also lead to believe it was a 100% Aussie company - it may be, but the unit is actually made in China. Very disappointing. No...

Nothing anymore.

EXACTLY 12 months & 1 day after purchase, it has begun freezing several times a night & has to be switched off at the main switch. I can't believe this began happening as soon as the warranty ran out. Are they programmed to do this, I wonder ?

Easy set up, good on-screen interface. Australian made.

Can freeze up & pixelate in bad weather, but I'd say this is a reception issue as we haven't got a proper digital antenna.

Terrible

I wouldn't reccomend it in any way to anyone, and I paid fair a bit (AUD120). I insist, DO NOT BUY IT!

Easy to set up

Right after 1 year and 20 days it started freezing the view, so now I can't return it. After what the other guys said is seems it's a general problem, I thought onbly mine had it.

Bad

While the setup was simple its annoying to continually have to turn off the power to reset the box after it freezes the picture. I don't recommend as both boxes have failed. A dud!

Cheap set top box with good reception (when it doesn't freeze up).

This is the 2nd box that I have had. I returned the 1st one the day after I bought it because there was no picture. The 2nd one is now constantly freezing on the screen and you need to power off each time this happens.
