The Humax DTR-T2000 is a YouView set-top box giving you subscription-free access to more than 70 TV and radio channels, plus catch-up TV from the BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand 5. It's also a recorder with 500GB of disk space. Easy-to-use,...
YouView is the most comprehensive of the subscription-free TV options, and the Humax DTR-T2000 is the best value option. Asked by Bill Manclark from Scotland UK on 4th Jan 2018 I have tried downloading the app but it just tells me to "try later" as...

Simply one of the finest ways to access Freeview TV
Smart-looking chassis ; Simple operation and intuitive remote ; Fantastic integrated guide with live TV and catch-up services ; Quick and quiet in use
No integrated Wi-Fi ; Can't access extra channels outside Freeview ; High initial cost compared to subscription services
The Humax DTR-T2000 YouView is simply one of the finest ways to watch Freeview TV. Its integrated guide, with access to both live TV and catch-up services, makes it super-easy to use – plus the box looks nice, too.

Best Freeview HD recorder, Awards 2014. Harder, better, faster, stronger: essentially, the kind of product evolution we like to see
Excellent catch-up offerings Easy to use Good picture quality Plenty of storage space
Still no wi-fi provided
The Humax DTR-T2000 box is better than its predecessor in nearly every way. Things may have moved on in the last year, with many more TVs getting some catch-up features of their own - along with Facebook and Spotify. But when it comes to the pure...

The compact Humax DTR-T2000 YouView PVR is the fastest yet
Compact slim design ; Effortless usability ; Mix of broadcast and IPTV
No network file support ; No integrated Wi-Fi ; Clicky remote wand

The Humax DTR-T2000 PVR may look the same as the Humax DTR-T1010 on the outside, but it's a fraction smaller and Humax claims this competitively priced YouView PVR is the fastest in its range. We put it to the test to find out how good it really is.

Fantastic bit of kit - no need for Sky; works beautifully, family have hammered this machine for over a year and still acts like new - no brainer....
Consumer review (richersounds.com)
This YOUVIEW box was not only very easy to set up but much simpler to operate than the previous box I owned.
Consumer review (richersounds.com)
Good bit of kit - does everything including Netflix and all the other streaming services as well as freeview via Aerial. Would give it five stars but guys at Richer Sounds didn't say it is not Wi-fi enabled, so I had to spend more on a powerline...
Consumer review (richersounds.com)
It was easy to set up, and works well for a few days but then loses channels. I retune and it's fine for a week then they go again. Less than a month and I've re-started it twice to get "MyTV" info restored, and re-tuned it 4 or 5 times to get lost...

I purchased this a week ago after looking at various models to suit my needs and this was perfect for me. It has all the connections I required that I had on my previous unit and a whole lot more. It has plenty of storage for my programmes and catch up...
