Canon CanoScan 9950F

Although it's an all-purpose scanner, the Canon CanoScan 9950F is most noteworthy for its ability to scan film of various sizes.

Slide-scanning features are far ahead of most flatbed scanners. Color-restore feature. Good OCR accuracy. Scans directly to PDF format.

No ADF. Dust and scratch removal feature doesn't do much.

Canon CanoScan 9950F

You'll get solid--but not spectacular--scans from this cool-looking flatbed.

Adequate all-in-one scanner; quiet operation

Spartan feature set; lackluster scans.

An OK scanner for an OK price.

Canon's CanoScan 9950F is a great scanning option for expert users who need high-quality powerful tools, and speed.

High speed, good scan quality, neat film and transparency tools

Nothing notable

Beware!

I bought the 9000f. It stopped working after 18-20 months. You have to question the quality of their products. Their customer service is terrible. I even had dealings with the Dept of Fair Trading and they were still not interested. I have not come...
