Good Buy

Does what it says.

Haven't figured out advantage of mounting vertically.

Great buy

Just Works with Linux (tested with Ubuntu and LTSP terminal) Fast scanning for the price (about 10 seconds per page in greyscale) Great greyscale quality.

Color quality is good for general use, but I don't think it would be great for photo scanning.

Good scanner but not for x64

Scans well, small footprint.

Confusing software, hard-to-read labeled buttons on front, won't work with Windows x64.

Small but multiple issues...

Inexpensive, light and small.

Scanner is quite loud and LED mechanism often illuminates through the other side of the paper.

Good basic scanner

The scanner takes up little space, has decent software and uses the USB for power so there is little clutter.

None at this point.

Wife loves it

While this scanner isn't the absolute best it is a very good value. I bought it for my wife and she loves the size, simplicity of connection and the software.

Price, software, size, no power cord

None considering the price

I love it

We use PaperPort in the office to hold everything, and I bought this mostly for document scanning into PaperPort. Perfect for the job.

Portable, only needs the USB connection, no separarte power adapter (fantastic). Perfect for what I needed it for

None really, for what it is. Of course you won't get the best color scans, but it does fine for general use

Crooked scans

I'm assuming my problems are because the Lide 60 is a very low cost scanner so it may be better to invest in a more expensive model.

The scanner software is very easy to use and works well enough for most purposes. The bunching of software to create searchable PDFs is excellent since a copy of Adobe Acrobat is very expensive. The automatic cropping to the edges of the images is a great

The images come out crooked. The left side of the image is high then the right side such that horizonal lines in the page are not horizontal when scanned. This is not a problem with my monitor because I checked this on two different computers and by...

Good for the price.

Works as advertised. Fast on. Better than my junky HP scanner
