Canon CanoScan LiDE 35

The Canon CanoScan LiDE 35 delivers more than you might expect given the price tag of just $80 (direct). The maximum 1,200-pixel-per-inch optical resolution is easily enough for photos and reasonably accurate OCR results, as demonstrated by our tests....

Ranks as very good for both photo scan quality and suitability for photos. Both a simple interface for beginners and an advanced interface for more control

Feature for removing scratches and dust specks doesn't work well

The Canon CanoScan LiDE 35 offers more than the basics, but not much more. Scans for photos rate as very good. The tool for restoring faded colors works well, but the one for removing dust specks and scratches offers little or no improvement for a...

Canon - CanoScan LiDE 35

If you are in the market for a portable flatbed scanner to accompany you on business trips then Canon's ultra-thin CanoScan LiDE 35 should be at or near the top of your list. Weighing in at ...

There are few portable flatbed scanners on the market, and the CanoScan LiDE 35 is one of the best of them, offering good quality scans at reasonable speeds, topped off with a sensible price point.

Great Scanner

Great scanner for the price, quick, small, and only one cord. The side stand is convienent as well, prop it up in the corner and forget about it.

Canon CanoScan LiDE 35 1200 x 1200dpi 48bit 2.0 Interface Flatbed Scanner

Great scanner for the money. Works fine with both my XP and 98 machines.

A fine scanner

This scanner does what it is supposed to do. Nothing fancy, but it works. USB 2.0 makes it faster than LIDE 20. Push buttons are good, but I'd like to see the scan open in your favorite application without the scanner saving it. You can save it later...

Excelent portable Scanner

Great for use with laptops and traveling. No extra power supplies needed and it is lightweight. Also has a vertical stand, for small footprint and storeage. I love this thing.

welkya

Agree with above. Got this "cheap" one for my office. One problem with scanners is the drivers. Epson true have good optics but the drivers are "heavy". Who scans above 600, even 1200 will create an image file you will need a monster machine and...

Excellent scanner for photos on a budget!

Wicked results at 600 dpi. Under $70. Why spend more just for archiving old photographs at 600 dpi (more than enough resolution for most people -- 600 dpi is equivelant to 8.3 megapixels!). Canon optics are superb, on par with Epson.
