Good bang for the buck

I bought the scanner refurbished from Epson's online store. The scanner along with transparency adapter cost $80 plus shipping. At that rate it beats out most of the entry level scanners at price. Performance-wise I think this really good. The SCSI...

SCSI and It Has Nice Software...

Let me start off by saying this scanner's resolution is wonderful. It runs at 1200 x 2400 optical (9600 enhanced). It's a 36-bit scanner, which isn't the best, but it's not worse. It also has an impressive list of features - too numerous to list....

I own the Epson Perfection 1200S flatbed scanner with a transparency adapter unit (for scanning film) for over 2 month now. I am using it with a PowerTowerPro 225 (Mac clone). For those people who is considering this scanner, it is Epson's replacement...
