Epson Perfection V350 Photo

The Epson Perfection V350 Photo is a general-purpose scanner that's best for photographic prints, but it can handle slides, strips of film, and documents, too.

Scans photographic prints reasonably well. Includes optical character-recognition software.

Scans only two slides at a time. Autoloader for strip of film is slow.

Epson Perfection V350 Photo scanner

The Epson Perfection V350 Photo is a swift flatbed scanner that makes it easy to output colorful and pleasing images.

Built-in transparency scanning with automatic film loader ; Sleek design ; Easy to use ; Flexible software appeals to different levels of users ; Accurate dust removal ; Swift

Transparency scans lack detail ; Scans were a bit dark and had a slight blue cast

The V350sports a silver-and-gray case with a sleek, low-profile design and has a hinged lid for scanning thick and oddly shaped objects. It ships with Epson Scan software, which works in three modes: Full Auto Mode for basic scanning with very few...

Epson Perfection V350 Photo Scanner Review and Prices

The new Epson Perfection V350 photo scanner includes many of the tools found on much more expensive scanners, and it comes at a decent suggested retail price of $150. It's part of a new class of Perfection photo scanners that Epson has introduced to...

Epson - Perfection V350 Photo

In an age when everything is digital, what do you do with all your old 35mm negatives, especially if the photos you originally printed of them have become damaged, lost or faded? Answer: you can either ...

A stylish and affordable scanner with the unusual bonus of an automatic 35mm film loader built into the versatile lid, yet it's sadly let down by slow acting software and long scanning times.

Impressive - I wanted a scanner to do 35mm slides and this one does what I expected. Even able to correct color balance on washed out slides.

Have not used it enough to report problems but so far it works as I expected a scanner to perform.

Trash

Don't buy this scanner. Even if you just want it for occasional home use there are plenty of models for similar money that won't make you as mad as this model makes me

the lid looks pretty, and someone with a small brain might be impressed by that

I'm an art student. The school I attend replace our good, but older scanners with 5 of these things. They take longer to make a scan than any other scanner I've ever used, witch is quite a few. It has nothing to do with the resolution it's set at, the...

Works as good as any Epson scanner I''ve owned

I bought this scanner to replace an Epson 1650 Photo scanner. I don''t know why Epson chose to complicate the simple menu choice of the 1650. It''s a step back in ease of operation in my opinion

Great Scanner

I'm thinking about giving this to a friend and buying the Canoscan 8800F.

I like the ability to scan a whole negative strip at once yet make individual adjustments to each. I guess this is quite common on new scanners. It took awhile to get used to professional mode in the software but now I really like it, especially...

I can't use the strip feeder on the top for really short strips ; I wish I could over-ride the lamp warmup time when I don't care about the color temp of the light

Beware of ABBYY Sprint 5 software

Scanner is good, especially on old photos.

Epson advertises but does not support the ABBYY Sprint 5 software (twain) to be compatible with Apple OS.
