Microtek ScanMaker V6UPL

The ScanMaker V6UPL is hard to beat for SOHO and home users who want to scan large materials, such as artwork, spreadsheets, newspapers, and oversize books. This model is also a good choice for those with PCs lacking USB ports.

Microtek ScanMaker V6UPL

Microtek's latest flatbed scanner, the AU$399 ScanMaker V6UPL, is a fast and flexible unit ideal for users seeking an easy way to scan colour images and slides.

Microtek ScanMaker V6UPL Flatbed Scanner

Originally installed on WinME and worked great. Read most of the recent reviews about XP and thought the worst. Upgraded system to WinXPPro and found scanner works fine for all modes. Even slide attachment works great.

Microtek ScanMaker V6UPL Flatbed Scanner

I wish I had read all of the negative comments about this scanner before I purchased it - I thought I'd done my homework, but I guess I just listened to the hype. It's 3 months out of warranty and in "Preview" mode the carriage is stuck and makes a lot...

Legal size. Fairly easy to use when it works

I hate spending money for something that has to be replaced 3 months outside of the warranty because the repair will cost more than the item

Newer is not always better

I bought this thing 5 months ago thinking it would make life easier. I was wrong. I previously owned a Microtek E3 and had nothing but faithful service from it for 5 years. Ever since I have had the V6UPL, I have had nothing but problems. Weather I...

Microtek Scanmaker v6 upl

The BAD (in my case)

Scans 8.5" x 14" documents, automatic paper feed attachment and 35mm slide scanner

Software is limited(not very customizable), kinda pricy
