XEROX & NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER LOYALTY

Product works - that's what it's supposed to do! No need for hoopla here -it doesn't dazzle; it doesn't have to - just needs to do what it's supposed to do!

The Almighty Xerox Corportaion will not upgrade their drivers for Windows 10. Not even apologetic about it either! Of course , they offer a 20% discount if you buy a replacement scanner, like that fixes anything..... My Story: Bought a Documate 515 on...

Great Scanner

I don't like the offered paperport software, I scan directly into Adobe Pro.

I have two Documate 515, and one 510. Great scanner, they have seen very heavy duty, in busy doctor office (paperless). No issues

I dont install the offered software, be sure to download driver from website, CD never worked.

Use a short usb cable.

So far it has been operating fine for a few months. I really wish I would have gone with a mfc all in one but I guess I'll just live with another space taken up, now that it works.

Auto feed. Touch button. Software included.

Useless if you try to use a usb cable over 4ft. For some awful reason I went over a year continually getting frustrated with the machine. It wasn't until I finally pulled my head out and read a review naming the problem: longer than 4ft cable. Terrible...

Repeat Xerox scanner buyer

I bought two of these a year apart, so clearly I think this is the best scanner out there for the money, and I have been through many scanners in 20 years.

The scanner works so well I bought a second one, in part to get another license for the OCR software bundled with it, but also for use as a scanner.

It does not like dirty photocopies with loose toner on them. Easier to wipe the pages than wipe the sheetfeed works. The reflective scan makes me position stuff just so, with more effort than the usual flatbed.

pretty terrible

When it works it is pretty fast. Spent a while looking for flatbed scanners with an ADF. The price was right for this one

Basically couldn't get this to work with Windows 7. Luckily, I have an XP machine lying around which rescued this from being an epic fail. Used the scanwiz software that folks have been talking about. It's a lifesaver. I couldn't get any of the bundled...

It came with OCR software which works quite well

The automatic document feeder is terrible and most documents scan fairly crooked. The scanning quality is much lower than other scanners I own

Not for those with OCD

Scanner works as expected. No surprises.

This scanner is not for those with OCD. The blue light on the front panel flashes constantly when the scanner is in standby mode. Very distracting. Had to put black electrical tape over the indicator to block the constant flashing.
