Fitbit Versa Lite review: The basics aren't enough

Fitbit watered down the Versa smartwatch to make a more-affordable Versa Lite, but the $40 price drop just isn't enough. Sure, it's a capable fitness-tracker, thanks to long battery life and robust workout features. But when you can get a faster,...

Comfortable design ; Four-day battery ; Capable workout and sleep tracking

No WiFi support ; Too expensive for what it is

Fitbit Versa Lite

The Fitbit Versa Lite is an affordable entry-level smartwatch that provides everything beginners need to start monitoring their health and improving their fitness routines.

Lots of features for the price. Sleek, lightweight design. Long battery life. Easy to use.

No on-device music storage. Sleep tracking is a bit finicky.

Every other smartwatch we like costs more than the Versa Lite. The $200 Samsung Galaxy Active tracks activity, sleep, and heart rate in a more stylish design, but it has far shorter battery life. The $255 Fossil Sport offers more in the way of apps,...

Fitbit Versa Lite Review: Stripped-Down Smartwatch Nails the Basics

While it's missing some of the snazziest features, the Versa Lite brings the core functionality of Fitbit's Versa at a more affordable price.

It would be great to see onboard GPS, music storage, better apps and swim tracking in a device for $159. Until then, the Versa Lite will do just fine.

Fitbit Versa Lite review: Lower cost with little sacrifice

The Versa Lite is a low-cost version of Fitbit's most affordable smartwatch, but there's nothing cut-rate about it.

Same great design with a cheaper price ; Excellent battery life ; Just enough smartwatch functions

No on-board music storage ; New colors are little too amateur

The Fitbit Versa Lite is everything we love about the Versa with a lower price tag that doesn't cut anything too important.

Fitbit Versa Lite review

It's a tricky proposition for a product launch: last year's model, but with fewer features. But sometimes the rules of consumer electronic update cycles were made to be broken — or at the very least, a little bent. Last year's Versa was itself a paring...

Fitbit Versa Lite review: A fantastic entry-level smartwatch

The Fitbit Versa Lite is one of the best cheap smartwatches you can buy. It not only offers the best features as the original Versa, it improves on some of the things that needed work. If you're in the market for a new smartwatch and don't mind...

Bright, easy-to-read display ; Fitbit OS has improved a ton ; Accurate fitness and sleep tracker ; Low(ish) price point ; 5ATM water resistance ; Fitbit app is user friendly ; Plenty of customization options with bands and case colors

No music storage ; Fitbit's app ecosystem is still lacking

You Won't Miss the Features Cut From the Fitbit Versa Lite

Buying a smartwatch can be intimidating. They're expensive, most of them come with similar features, and it can be difficult for first-timers to navigate the technobabble marketing speak to find a smartwatch that suits their needs. That's exactly the...

Great tracking and price. Don't miss the extra features one bit.
