Polar A360 review

If you're an active person, Polar's A360 is as close to perfect as fitness bands get.

Polar has done its research when it comes to what active people want in a fitness band. The A360’s feature list reads like an answer to many people’s complaints about Fitbit products: color display, full smart notifications, waterproof, Micro USB...

Polar A360

If you've already mastered the basics, the Polar A360 is an advanced fitness tracker that gives concrete recommendations on how to improve your health.

Tracks daily activity, steps, calories, workouts, and sleep. Helpful coaching features. Includes optical heart rate monitor. Excellent battery life. Waterproof. Comfortable. Swappable bands.

Costs $50 more than closest competitor. Sleep data could be presented better.

Conclusions The Polar A360 is for a certain type of person — someone who has mastered the basics of fitness tracking and wants to get fitter through training. It's a well-designed device with excellent coaching tips and fitness suggestions. It won't...

Polar A360 Review

While great at tracking heart rate, it fell short in other important aspects

Great display, tons of other trackable activities, accurate heart rate monitoring

Not water resistant, difficult to put on, poor sleep tracking

While the A360 stood out in some categories and sub-metrics, it fell short in aspects that made up the highest weightings in our scores. We wouldn't recommend this one unless you are solely interested in tracking heart rate and nothing else, and in...

Polar A360 reviewed: Another fitness tracker with smartwatch envy

The $199 tracker is the first with Polar's own wrist-bound heart rate monitor.

Customizable design with interchangeable bands. ; Device and app suggest ways to help you complete your daily goal. ; Heart rate monitor is fairly accurate; you have the option to connect to a Polar H7 chest strap as well.

Cannot read full smartphone notifications on the display. ; Tiny charging port cover gets lost easily/ ; App has issues when syncing over Bluetooth. ; $199 is a bit steep, especially compared to its competition.

As the fitness tracker market becomes ever more crowded, the smallest features will be what cause you to choose one device over another, especially when the devices are as similar as the A360 and the Vívosmart HR. The A360 has a color screen and...

Polar A360 Fitness Tracker Review

The $199 Polar A360 is comfortable, waterproof, accurately measures your heart rate in real time and delivers helpful information about exercise, sleep and periods of rest. The screen is possibly the easiest to read among comparably priced fitness...

Waterproof ; Large color touch-screen display with touch support ; Accurate heart rate ; Works during strenuous activity

Doesn't track running distance ; Awkward band clasp ; App doesn’t track nutrition ; Shorter battery life than competitors

The Polar A360 is an easy-to-read fitness tracker with a built-in heart rate monitor whose main weakness is that it doesn't log the miles you run.

Review: Polar A360 fitness tracker makes ease-of-use a top priority

Polar's A360 is one of the most user-friendly fitness trackers you can buy, and arguably one of the best on the market period, even if it lacks some of the features advanced athletes might want.

Easy-to-use, info-rich graphical interface ; Long battery life ; Waterproof ; Backed by great app and Web tools

Heart rate monitor semi-accurate, only on during workouts ; No GPS functions ; High pricetag for features ; App could use better sleep and coaching functions ; The Polar A360 is available for $199 ; .

The A360 is a curious beast. At $200, it's a little pricey for casual fitness types who could spend $50 less and get a Fitbit Charge HR with many (though not all) of the same benefits. Hardcore athletes, meanwhile, may bemoan the average heart rate...

Polar A360

Its name is synonymous with accurate heart rate tracking, but this is Polar's first device to be aimed at average Joes who just want to move more.

The Polar A360 is a decent choice for anyone looking to be more active, but it can't quite keep pace with similar rivals.
