Xiaomi Mi Band 2 review: You can hardly go wrong with this crazy-cheap step tracker

The Mi Band 2 manages to offer features normally found on more expensive fitness trackers at a fraction of the cost...but you get what you pay for.

The Mi Band 2 is absurdly affordable despite packing in a heart rate sensor, sleep tracking, water resistance and a battery life of a week.

The fitness band doesn't offer the exercise tracking that would make it a perfect accessory.

If you just want a basic fitness tracker for walking, the Mi Band 2 does the job fine, but you'll have to look towards more expensive trackers if you want more features.

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Smartband Review

Low-cost tracker. A fitness wristband for roughly 20 Euros (~$22) with OLED panel, heart-rate monitor, IP67 certification and a battery life of over 20 days? The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi makes it possible. We tested Xiaomi's Mi Band 2 and report how...

price, very long battery life, OLED panel, comfortable to wear, IP67 certificate

unreliable heart-rate measuring, screen brightness could be higher, availability

Xiaomi's second generation of the Mi Band lineup convinced in our test with its strong price-performance package and comfort in wear. Compared with fitness wristbands from other manufacturers, the Mi Band 2's purchase price is low, and it even offers...

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 review: Reasonably priced fitness tracking

The Mi Band 2 from Xiaomi is a reasonably priced fitness tracker that does the basics really well. Check out our full Mi Band 2 review!

Most fitness trackers look pretty similar and the Mi Band 2 doesn’t stray too far from the fold in that regard. The wrist strap is made from a black rubber similar to the Apple Watch Sport and has a metal push nub that holds the strap on. The Mi Band 2...

Xiaomi Mi Band 3: the fitness tracker for the masses

How much fitness tracker do you actually need? How much does a fitness track cost? If you believe Xiaomi, $40 is enough to satisfy you in all respects. We tested the fourth generation of the inexpensive tracker, the Mi Band 3.

Excellent price-performance ratio ; Simple design ; Pulse sensor ; Waterproof up to 5 ATM ; OLED display with touch function

Pedometer and heart rate monitor are inaccurate ; App isn't correctly localized ; Chinese firmware ; Display brightness not adjustable

Do you really need more? Maybe, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Athletes who need a tracker that also acts as a GPS and internal memory for MP3s should avoid the Mi Band 3. But if you need a simple band that’s easy to use, has a long battery life...

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Review

Xiaomi recently launched the most expected Mi Band 2 in India. It is the company's third-generation fitness and sleep tracker after the most popular Mi Band and the upgraded Mi Band Pulse with a heart rate sensor. It is the first Mi Band with an OLED...

Affordable ; Water resistant (IP67) ; Heart rate sensor ; OLED display shows time, remaining battery and more ; Good battery life

OLED display is not visible clearly in bright outdoors

Priced at Rs. 1,999, the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is a worthy successor to the Mi Band. It retains the compact design, has IP67 ratings for water resistance and also adds OLED display and heart rate sensor. Wish the display was brighter for better outdoor...

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 review

Xiaomi is back with yet another affordable fitness tracker. Here's everything you need to know about the Xiaomi Mi Band 2!

Very affordable ; Battery lasts around 20 days ; Accurate step/sleep tracking ; Idle Alerts are very helpful

Inconsistent heart rate monitor ; Display can be hard to read outside ; Mi Fit app could use a lot of work

Xiaomi's Mi Band 2 is improved in almost every way over its predecessors, and it's still super cheap. With that said, the inconsistent heart rate monitor, wonky Mi Fit app and a few other caveats should be kept in mind before buying this $40 fitness...

Review: The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is the most disappointing wearable of the year so far

Xiaomi has recently released the latest version of their Mi Band fitness tracker range, and while it has a number of new features, it also disappoints in many areas. Check out our full review!

The Mi Band has come a long way since I first reviewed the original a while back. It has grown in features, design, and even price. The overall build quality of the device - as in whether or not it could take a beating - is still solid. I'm a big fan...

Xiaomi Mi 2 band review - early impressions of the new tracker

Xiaomi Mi 2 band review - early impressions of the new tracker

Well designed ; 20 day battery life ; Low price ; Simple to use

Heart rate only on demand ; App is fairly basic ; No rewards, leader boards to motivate you

We think Xiaomi is sitting on a winner here. The Chinese company shipped over 10 million Mi Band fitness trackers in the first nine months of 2015 and the new tracker may help it close the gap on Apple and Fitbit .
