These are re-branded Intel enterprise SSDs at an extreme cost savings. The performance of these drives are impressive but the real kicker is that they seem to be hyper-reliable.

restricted use

 

Newegg needs to update the product description to give a prominent warning about the restricted applicability of this drive with its firmware as of this date.

Great specs. Excellent tech support person. 5 eggs represents benefit of the doubt since not being able to put the drive to the use I intended I have no experience with its operation.

When I got the drive out of the sealed plastic packaging it came in I discovered on the back side a printed paper adhesive label warning that it should be connected only to a raid or raid like controller and not to an SATA port on a motherboard. I...
