So fast!

One of the best investments you can make to speed up your system.

Extremely fast read/write and access times, truly the ultimate application drive. Install was simple, BIOS on an 880G motherboard picked it up right away as did windows

More expensive per GB...but you're paying for performance. Takes up a slot and bandwidth on the PCIx bus, but many motherboards with two x16 lanes run at x16 and x4 anyway

Blazing speed!

Had to download drivers from OCZ to a thumb drive to load windows. Shows up as a SIL Raid controller in the bios. Directions were pretty straight forward. Also, Must me set up as MBR not GPT if you use this in a Windows OS before installing a new...

Dramatic difference in OS and application speed with Windows 7 x64. I was using a WD Velociraptor prior to installing this. There just is no comparison. This is the highest rated device in my PC using Windows rating system (7.9)!!!. I should have...

Had freezes and crashes before I turned off the sleep mode and PCIE power savings in Windows. Should be the first step after installing Windows. Not a single glitch since

Fast Fast Fast

Make sure you read the reviews on ALL the Revodrives on NewEgg. You get a lot of good info. Disconnect all your HDDs when installing Windows. Turn off sleep mode in Power Management. I was getting crashes b4 I did this.

This thing is quick. My best HDD got a 905 in Passmark's benchmark. I have 4 HDDs. This thing got a 3983. Now that is fast. After reading reviews on many other sizes of these on here, I was able to get a lot of good info about installing it and setting...

Newer technology. Takes a minute to learn to configure it in Windows

Actually two 90GB drives

Given the price premium, I wish OCZ had been a little more forthcoming about what's actually on it. They make a big deal of the Revo's PCI-e interface bypassing the SATA bottleneck, so I was astonished to see that it actually uses SATA internally! The...

The cons are probably not a big deal on Windows systems. If you have a spare PCI-e slot of x4 or better, it can save you two (not one) SATA ports (see below)

This is NOT a 180 GB SSD! It's actually two independent 90 GB SSDs connected through a Silicon Image 3124 SATA/PCI-X controller and a Pericom PCI-e/PCI-X bridge. You need software RAID-0 to make them appear as the single, fast 180 GB SSD that OCZ...

Generally satisfied, for EVGA E760 board

Overall I am satisfied with the purchase. As mentioned above, my ASUS combination USB 3.0 SATA 6 RAID card (U3S6, rev. 1.02G) was causing a conflict on my EVGA Classified 3 way SLI motherboard. Updated the BIOS and removed the ASUS card, the Revo Drive...

Easy installation after realizing ASUS combination USB 3.0 SATA 6.0 was causing conflict ; Quality packaging

No Manual or drivers included and could not find manual online easily; if one is not familiar with how these cards work, may make for some frustration ; May not make an earth shattering difference in disk IO speed is already running a fast system

Best investment on my new build!

My ASROCK puts this as a bootable option, but below ANY other possible source, even my IDE hard drive. Keep this in mind when doing intitial BIOS baseline or adding storage. CHECK FOR MOTHERBOARD COMPATIBILITY BEFORE YOU BUY THIS. I lucked out, as the...

My ASROCK Extreme6 picked this up immediately, even with the 1.10 BIOS. (The 1.20 BIOS was released to support this officially.) ; THIS MAKES EVERYTHING SO MIND BLOWINGLY FAST! Anything that used to lag at all outright hauls. Cannot believe how fast...

Takes up a PCI-Express slot. Wasn't a huge deal for me, but if I do decide to Crossfire later on my #2 slot will be locked to x16/x8, no dual x16 for me. If you're gonna go this big on a boot and OS drive, maybe look at the more exotic XL ATX...

Not enough testing....

I don't think the problem is OCZ's products and innovation, the problem is the forum support and beta testers.

Good packaging

After some problems with installation, I visited the ocz forum and found out I need to return the product and get a replacement which will hopefully be one of the refurb models. Refurb? OCZ had to pull ALL revodrive to fix some poor solders and some...
