Patriot Blaze 240GB SSD

Over all I'm happy with this SSD, hope it lasts 2x as long as it I need it too. Hoping for a PCI-E x4 ssd upgrade and use this guy in my main rig for extra game space, Darn you gta and your file sizes *angry fist*.

Works =D Used as a boot drive for a home ITX server and holds one game server currently and is lag free.

Saw someone post about this thing feeling empty, I have to agree it does feel quite light to the touch and makes me wonder about how it will survive my 5th floor drop testing so we shall see. Read speeds during bench-marking got well over 500, where...

SSD, or paperweight?

I've had very good service and product quality from Newegg in the past(a customer since 2003) so I feel this is a "one-off" type of experience, more on the manufacturer. So here's to an effortless RMA experience :/

If it would post on ANY of my machines< I'd have something positive to say about it.

I received my SSD(?) in the mail yesterday, and attempted to install it today. This hard drive is not recognized on three different machines, nor would it post in an exterior enclosure. Honestly, the case feels EMPTY, like there isn't anything inside...

Meh

This would be a great unit for a budget laptop build using older SATA standards.

Installed fine Inexpensive Reasonably quick

The unit that I got lasted roughly 24 hours before beginning to lose data. RMA back to New Egg. I ended up going with a 256K SSD for an M.2 slot that transfers at nearly 1000MB/s. More than 4 times faster. I cannot compare that drive to this one more...

This thing is NEAT.

1. Fast. 2. Small, like really tiny. 3. Extremely light. 4. Fast. This is my first experience with an SSD. I no longer wait on Windows to boot up, Windows waits on ME.

I guess, none? If I'm reaching, I'll say that I no longer get to take those quick bathroom breaks when waiting for Windows to load up. The Blaze pretty much took my bathroom break away.

Great Bang for Buck

Does not come with a mounting tray for a 3.5" bay. If you need this, must buy separately.

$99 for 240GB SSD (with promo code), and no need for rebate. Performance is excellent - comparable to my Samsung and AData SSD.s No errors or issues seen - just worked. Phison Controller

None.

Wow, Much Fast, Sooo Speed

For the $/Gb, this SSD is a for sure buy for anyone looking to upgrade.

When you hear people tell you how fast a ssd is, it really doesn't hit you until you see it on your own computer. My Original HD from 2008 worked but was not fast by and means. This SSD boots to full boot in under 20 seconds which I will say is an...

Won't cook bacon. I like my HD bacon.
