Consumer review (newegg.com)

Very good

Page/Swap file had to be adjusted to not take all the drive space, other than that, very happy with this product.

Very quick as boot drive - loads Windows 7 64bit in about 10 seconds or less

Costly compared to standard 7200RPM HHDs ; Limited space makes it viable mostly as boot drive on a Windows 7 system

2 month wonder!

I wish they would publish a firmware flash, but still you don't know when it will become a brick.

Extremely fast when it works. I'm on my 2nd RMA

Drive works like a charm my 2nd RMA in the begining then craps out around the first month or 2. Like I said, I'm on my 2nd RMA

drive has died

Haven't used computer very often, mostly off. After relocating computer, it worked for a little while, and now won't boot. tried reinstalling windows7, hangs at the arrow prior to the installation launch. removed drive, installation loads fine, put...

Fast, was able to install windows 7 in about 15 minutes, give or take

none until lately, drive died

Bad

I ran my computer with a regular hard drive before taking the dive into SSD and this was not a good choice to start with, although at the time I purchased it, the price was right... Technical support is somewhat lacking and if you want an RMA, you are...

Fast boot time with Windows 7

Pauses regularly with clicking sounds and freezes sometimes for 15-30 seconds during the boot and when opening websites or applications

90 Day Update

My daughter has used this daily for over 3 months at college. This means homework, music, and photos. This drive continues to perform as well or better than the original spinning hard drive that came in the laptop. BTW: The original spinning drive no...

Quick, quiet, cool, safe - no chance of crashing this while hauling your laptop around

This Drive is buggy with Windows 7

I would love RIDATA/RITEC to supply a driver, or some instructions to make this thing run right, otherwise for the same price you could have a terabyte traditional drive instead of this 32GB SSD

32 gigs, installs and recognizes right away, quiet and cool

This thing doesn't seem any faster than a traditional drive. Windows 7 doesnt recognize this as an SSD and i've had no luck fiddling with it. There are numerous settings that have to be done by hand, and it still isn't running right. I get strange...

Update-Rifth

Wait until it's affordable.

Okay, after doing some win7 tweeking the SSD is running smoothly now

Again, I did not run any benchmark tests on it but Win7 rates it .2 higher than my barracuda. Which is pretty sad in my opinion. But every little bit of speed helps

Happy

bueno.

Installed on Win 7. Runs with no stuttering. Had to do no firmware updating. Win 7 seemed to have setup all the little things you need to do when you install a SSD automatically for me. Applications load instantly

Works great

I wish the GB/$ ratio was better.

Very fast. I installed Win7x64 in minutes. I use this just to run the OS. Silent and no heat. I'm running so many fan, I barely hear my regular HDD though
