Bose SoundLink Home review: a speaker that’s all about looks

Sometimes it's okay to buy a speaker mostly for the aesthetic. And from the moment it was first announced , Bose's $219 SoundLink Home stood out from the pack (and Bose's own other efforts) with a mid-modern style that bears little resemblance to most...

Unique, stylish design ; Good sound for its size ; USB-C audio input ; Speakerphone functionality

No water or dust resistance ; You can’t adjust the EQ ; Battery life is unimpressive

There’s really not much else to cover with the SoundLink Home. It bets a whole lot on looks and feel and clears the bar on sound quality without any glaring tonal weaknesses. The absence of any EQ settings will inevitably disappoint those of you who...

Bose SoundLink Max Review

Full-bodied bass and clear highs ; Stylish and functional design ; Adjustable in-app EQ ; Good codec support ; Dustproof and waterproof

Expensive ; Struggles with deep bass at maximum volumes

The pricey Bose SoundLink Max speaker delivers lively Bluetooth audio and plenty of volume from a classy, rugged design.

Bose SoundLink Max review: size-defying sound isn’t cheap

Bose is undoubtedly best known for its noise-canceling headphones. But do you know what else the company has always been damn good at? Portable speakers. I can still remember being wowed by the original SoundLink Mini (and later, its successor)....

Much bigger sound than expected ; Includes line-in audio ; Supports AptX Adaptive for higher-quality music from Android devices ; USB-C port can charge your phone

Pricey for a speaker with no Wi-Fi, AirPlay, or Spotify Connect ; No speakerphone functionality ; No grouping with other SoundLink speakers at launch ; Metal finish is easily scratched

At the end of the day, the SoundLink Max will draw in the same people who’ve always bought Bose’s speakers. If you want to splurge on a very simple, elegant, great-sounding speaker, this is that. But the Bose tax and that $399 price will inevitably...

Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile Speaker

Strong audio performance. Portable and built with sturdy materials. Clever design uses protective cover as a stand when speaker is in use. Can wirelessly stream music from virtually any compatible Bluetooth device?not just iPhones, iPods, and iPads.

Expensive for a portable speaker system. Song beginnings get clipped when skipping or un-pausing. Not for audiophiles.

The portable Bluetooth-powered Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile Speaker features more powerful audio than you?d expect from its small, well-designed frame, and it integrates a cool cover that doubles as a stand.

Bose SoundLink Flex

The IP67-rated Bose SoundLink Flex outdoor speaker will survive the pool and beach, has good looks, and delivers both clear sound and a hefty amount of thump for its size. You can also pair two for true stereo.

Great sound for a mono speaker ; Handsome appearance ; More thump than you might expect ; Can pair for stereo.

Monaural sound ; No EQ in app

The IP67-rated Bose SoundLink Flex outdoor speaker is right at home around the pool, or at the beach. It’s also attractive, and delivers both clear monophonic sound and a hefty amount of thump for its size.

Bose SoundLink On-Ear HEADPHONES

The Bose SoundLink On-Ear are decent wireless on-ear headphones. They're comfortable and deliver a stable listening experience. Their sound quality is above-average, and they have an efficient control scheme. Sadly, they don't block much noise and leak...

Comfortable and stable fit. ; Lightweight, wireless design ; Efficient, audio controls.

Poor noise isolation. ; Leaky at high volumes.

Bose SoundLink Flex Review: Does It Surpass the SoundLink Mini 2?

With the Soundlink Flex, Bose is launching an unofficial successor to the popular Soundlink Mini 2. But is the BT speaker convincing in the test?

Very good sound quality ; Nice and loud with 90 db max ; Beautiful design with high-quality finish ; Long-lasting battery with up to twelve hours ; Good call quality

Very low functionality overall ; No jack connection ; No equalizer in the app

The SoundLink Flex from Bose scored top marks online, and the Bluetooth speaker also impressed in this test, particularly when we focused on its operation, sound quality, and battery life. As the spiritual successor to the SoundLink Mini 2, the...

Bose SoundLink Flex Review - When sound quality and consistency matter

Bose SoundLink Flex Review – Many bought portable Bluetooth speakers due to its portability. Being able to listen to music together anywhere while working or partying sounds really good to boost the mood, right? But what if you can also get great and...

Portable, compact design ; Well-built, IP67, can float in water ; Good sound quality, well-balanced with a punchy Bass ; A unique PositionIQ tech ; USB-C for charging

No AUX port ; Bluetooth 4.2

Bose’s portable Bluetooth speaker that focuses more on sound quality and consistency, and it pays off

Bose SoundLink Flex Bose SoundLink Flex Review - Clear audio everywhere

Bose SoundLink Flex is a nice portable speaker that sounds great and can withstand wind and weather.

Relatively rich bass and well-balanced sound right in front of the speaker. Built-in microphone works well for mobile calls.

Gentle midrange, which is particularly detrimental to female voices. Isolated sound if the speaker is not pointed directly at the ears. No EQ.

The Bose SoundLink Flex is a practical portable speaker that can withstand water and is also completely dustproof. Ease of use is good, as it often is on speakers of this kind. The fact that you can use the speaker for mobile calls is also a plus.
