The audio stopped working right after a year since I bought it. I didn't use it much, but for charging my iPhone. I'd seldom hear music on it, but now it just won't work. I guess it's just bad luck, but I'm not buying TEAC ever again.

Picked up sister model AV55, wood vinyl vs back, for 5 dollars each. Drivers are in great shape. Cabinet has some damage which I pan to veneer over. Cross overs are really cheap and glued to speaker post houskng. But I was impressed with the sound....

Whoever rated these as bad speakers is deaf.I had these together with a pair of Bose 201 speakers and there was no comparison in quality of sound.These Yamaha speakers had it all over the Bose in both mid range and bass and at higher wattage.

I have had these about 3 months now. They work pretty good. Sound quality is good. I have had the sound break on occassion but only for short period. Battery lasts fairly long without recharge. I like that no wires running from speaker to speaker....

These are entry-level speakers. They work outdoors but the sound quality is not as crisp as my powered monitor speakers in my house. I guess sound quality is not as critical outdoors. For providing music to a party these are adequate.
