Supposed to be for marine use, but the grilles were all rusted out in less than a season. Granted I'm in salt water I thought they'd last more than a year.

This woofer is great I have 3 one blew but that was after 2 years of besting the hell out of it with 3 times the rated power. But anyways I now have two in a dual ported box with a 4.4000 watt amp and they slap hard as hell. Very good buy for 50$
