A swift, communicative, powerhouse of a system

Superbly built and finished ; fast, detailed large-scale sound ; fine subwoofer

Treble sounds forthright at the best of times and abrasive at worst

The Dali hides its sensitivity under a brick outhouse exterior. Nothing, though, can hide the enthusiasm of its high frequencies

This very compact and pretty floorstander ticks all the right boxes

Compact design ; Looks good ; Decent tonal balance

Unremarkable sound quality

This unusually compact floorstander has all the right ingredients and delivers a good performance. However, the sound quality lacks the dynamic enthusiasm and coherence to inspire listener involvement

Excellent build quality and style. Big sound from a relatively small package. Large plinth adds stability

Tiny amount of resonant haze on some vocals but total concentration is needed to hear it
