You call these speakers?

Spend an extra few bucks on a better set. You won't regret it.

They actually emit sounds and they're cheap, and it sounded pretty fine on an old iBook G4

I don't believe that my dad could have spent $15 on this junk. The sound is muffled and crackles, even at the lowest volumes. The sound-to-noise ratio is terrible, and they make a very clear CD sound like a drill at a construction site. Out of the 5...

Better then expected.

I should have bought a Linksys!!

Just wanted sound, wasn't expecting anything wonderful but was surprised and still am. Got a second set cuz the price couldnt be beat. If all you want is sound then these are fine

Useless due to short cords

The lengths of both the audio and AC cords are so unbelievably short that I could not use the speakers on either computer for which I bought them.

Terrible! not worth half a cent

Try the CA 2.1 speakers for a contrast! THOSE THINGS OWN!

none i bought 2 of these and regretted it! first pair just died randomly last year see below for other

TERRIBLE SOUND even the error ding on windows sounded bad ; jeeps on BF1942 sound like static/dry fart, very porly contructed; fell apart 7 months ago! DO NOY BUY!! REPEAT: DO NOT BUY

Only okay ....

I buy this cheap speaker for one of the staff at work. The speaker is cheap alright but it does the job. It's great for that extra ding sound for your application, but not a speaker you'll want to listen music on.
