Excellent sound.

I have them palced 1 foot from the wall, 2.0 set up, no subwoofer Sources is Pandora streamed via a Heos by Dennon link, preamplifier via a DAC Emotiva XDA-1---> Amplifier: Emotiva UPA-2:120 wpc at 8 Ohms. 14# 14# 9 foot ceiling room. Those babies...

Excellent sound, great 2.0 setup. Perfect choice for Stereo set up.. Clean sound, no distortion ; Price

Not too sensitive, requires clean strong power to make them shine

Beautiful Sound

I can't wait until I get the BP Super Towers with the powered subs. The combination of the two sets of speakers are going to just blow me away. I will have to pry myself out from in front of the action movies and video games.

These things sound exceptional. The speaker configuration literally fills my living room with sound and I find myself quite often looking for where a sound came from in the house only to realize it was in the movie and the speakers directed it giving a...

The top cap on one of the speakers has a slight bow in it which can be a minor visual annoyance, but then again, I didn't buy these speakers to look at them

Def Tech BP8B

I have these up front,A CS8040HD center,Mythos Gems for rear surrounds and a Yamaha YSW216 sub, wired to a Yamaha RX-V375, Speakers are set to small and crossed over @80, with the sub gain @ 50% in a 14x16x8 ft room and it sounds great for HT,I have...

Crystal clear highs with adequate lows,5yr warranty and at 199.00 a piece, I had to have a set,They sound Fantastic right out of the box,Def Tech says 20-40 hrs break in and at the 10 hr mark,I could hear a difference,A more enveloping soundfield,These...

Amazing Piano

Piano sounds amazing. Movies sound amazing. Bass is very good for what you pay for. The mids and highs are very, very clear. A friend with a big surround system was amazed what these did for home theater by themselves. You will hear things you have...

No built in subwoofer but what the heck do you want for this price? Not great for heavy metal music. That's because the bipolar technology isn't a 'blast at your head' technology. It's a flowing, more symphonic, more surround-type experience

Finally got em

Get em before they are all gone.

Better in every way than my Polk Monitor 60's. Soundstage is so much better, fuller. I have these running with 2 powered subs set at 60hz crossover thru receiver and man do they sound amazing. I wish I had the cash to get another pair and leave em in...

BP8B - stellar!

A little sceptical buying something I couldn't hear first but, decided to go for it based on the great reviews these speakers get from all sites. Plus, getting a pair for the price of 1 normal retail is a steal! In fact, they're a steal at regular...

Room filling sound ; Good base response

None that I can think of

rock the casbah

These rock, have wanted a pair for 10 years and the $199 sale price tag was right. I have a loft-style 1500 square foot condo with 25 foot ceilings. I have no sub and these things still fill the space wonderfully. I keep them about 8-10" from the wall...

Mine are on hardwood so are fine, but I'd guess if they were on carpet they may be a bit wobbley. Also, the top panel isn't on there as good as I though. The connectors are on the bottom of the speaker, so they can be tricky to get to. None of this is...
