JBL Studio 190BK Floorstanding Loudspeaker First Look

The fact is that the new JBL Studio line has a great price point. With the top of the line 190BK's clocking in at just over $1000 a pair, these are definitely within the reach of the average consumer.

AWESOME speakers

I'm no audiophile, and don't really have anything to compare these with since I did direct upgrade from stock TV speakers to these. But the sound I get out of these is simply amazing. And they look boss.

AMAZING sound out of these speakers, yes I bought two of them (on sale about 180 days ago for $149 each) ; Night and Day difference between sound coming out of my flat screen TV's puny stock speakers

Excellent Sound

I bought two of these, and am running them as stereo speakers, not as part of a surround sound system. The sound is amazing. I haven't tried turning them up particularly loud - I think I'd get kicked out of my apartment before I got anywhere close to...

Terrific Sound, Attractive Design, But Mediocre Materials

Once again, let me just reiterate that for the price (probably anywhere under $150), the JBL Studio 190s are likely the best value currently out there for fairly decent quality speakers. Also, unlike a few folks, I think these speakers are quite neat...

Quintessential JBL Sound

Having owned several sets of Hi-Fi speakers over the years, I can say these are truly excellent. They easily dominate anything I've owned previously, and that's with my little N A D 7125 25-watt integrated amp running them! If you can buy these, do so....

Speakers sound great....

The package was damaged in shipping but there was no damage to the speaker itself. They are a tad heavy to get out of the box but once set up there should not be much reason to move them around much...all in all a great speaker for advanced home audio...

Don't take up a lot of space but produce rich sound

Real happy with them

Not sure why the left cabinet of 2 of these speakers were marred in almost the same place, but it must be something to do with the factory boxing process or something, becuase both boxes came from UPS with no evident damage on the outside.

Great sound. Nice ans slim. Excellent price. Truly enjoying the audio experience these speakers provide. Can't wait to get a more powerful amp to really drive these speakers
