Klipsch Quintet II review: Klipsch Quintet II

Klipsch Quintet II

Highly dynamic, detailed sound; efficient horn tweeter; extrapotent subwoofer; nice finish; sats have nifty integrated wall/shelf bracket.

Loose-fitting speaker grilles.

This entry-level home-theater package, with its expressive horns and punchy sub, kicks butt like one of the big boys.

Small Speakers - CanThey Do the Job?

As some of my fellow readers know, I've been using a stereo desktop speaker set (though a good one - Klipsch ProMedia 2.1) for my modest home theater system. Basically it consists of a PC running Vista Media Center and a modest sized LCD HDTV. My...

Room filling movie sound and a small Footprint

I purchased the Synergy quintet system for my bedroom and matched it with a Pioneer VSX-514 that puts out 100 watts per channel and am very happy with my setup.

Great for movies, take up very little space, come with a stand

Definitely need to be paired with a powered subwoofer, not the best for music

Purchased this product from www.acousticsounddesign.com. Speakers are great and they have a great sound. Excellent highs and very nice mid range. Overall very satisfied with purchase.

Klipsch quintet II

my brother who works in audio retailing company introduced me to this great speakers. After several demos and weeks of constant reviews (via internet and other stores carrying klipsch)I finally decided to get one. I paired it with NAD T742 and it was a...

WOW.

There really isn't much more to say about these. I just bought the Quintet 2 set in white (I'd prefer black, but for $199 Canadian, I'll take white :) and they are phenomenal. I'm using a high-current Yamaha amp with only 60w RMS per channel and they...

Crisp, wonderful sound. Very distinct spatial separation. Good highs, excellent mids

4 of my 5 speakers are white (the center is black??). Oh well

Very good computer gaming speakers

I bought these speakers for use with a computer gaming system and I've been very pleased with their sound--in fact, so pleased that I got rid of the stereo system in my office and now use these speakers for all of my audio. The drawback--if you...

Good sound, nice looking package; small speakers. Great for a small room

Poor support for auxiliary inputs; no hardware control over bass/treble

Quintets are great but one blew already

I love the clear, crisp sound, but one speaker blew already on 100 Watt output from my Yamaha 1400 receiver (Note-be careful of cranking Paul McCartney's live 'America' DVD too loud during 'Live & Let Die'). My local retailer took good care of fixing it.

clarity and volume

1 speaker blew within a month

Accurate, Lively,Well Balanced Movie Soundtracks

After researching, and listening to high end, low end, and everything in between from Polk, Infinity, Bose, etc., I chose the Klipsch Quintet for my surrounds. I am still amazed this system only cost $400! What a great set of speakers! The highs are...
