Logitech mm28 Review

The Logitech mm28 Portable Speakers are a decent set of speakers that have barebones features and great battery life.

Logitech mm28

The Logitech mm28 portable speaker's thin profile belies its full, rich sound.

Very good sound quality. Very thin. Easy to set up. Includes international AC adapter.

Bass distorts at higher volumes. No volume controls on the speaker itself.

More speaker reviews:• Jam Symphony• Bose SoundLink Color II• Bose SoundLink Revolve • Bose SoundLink Revolve+• LG Tone Studio (HBS-W120)• more

Logitech mm28 portable speakers review: Logitech mm28 portable speakers

Logitech mm28 portable speakers

Logitech definitely put a lot of thought into the design of its economical mm28 speakers. At only 1.24 inches thick, the svelte speaker system incorporates a combination protective cover/stand and integrated cable management.

The Logitech mm28 use NXT flat-panel technology, a relatively new speaker breakthrough that is still in its infancy in terms of sound quality. As a result, these speakers sound rather flat and high-end heavy. Users with bass-driven music will...

Logitech's mm28 speakers will add style points to your decor but deliver less than satisfying audio fidelity.

If you're into the portable media scene and have a good MP3 player and maybe even a portable DVD or video player, you'll know that others often like to get in on the action. But as most of these devices use headphones it isn't always convenient to...

Excellent sounding ; Compact size ; Battery or adapter powered ; Stylish and unique design

No volume control on the MM28, you have to use the attached device's volume

Logitech's mm28 speakers will add style points to your decor but deliver less than satisfying audio fidelity.

Thoughtful design ; Only 25mm thick ; Incorporates a combination protective cover/stand and integrated cable management

Use NXT flat-panel technology, a relatively new speaker breakthrough that is still in its infancy in terms of sound quality -- as a result, sound is rather flat and high-end heavy ; Users with bass-driven music will undoubtedly be disappointed by the...

Since its introduction, NXT technology has had constant issues with low-end sound quality, and the Logitech system is no different. Although there was no distortion from the speakers, we were unimpressed with bass response and vocal body. The high end...

The Logitech mm28 is one of the first portable speakers to incorporate NXT technology, which forgoes the traditional speaker cones and drivers for a sleek metal panel that translates sound signal vibrations into crisp, clear sound. One of the main...
