Don't let its relatively small size foo you: This sound bar pumps out big sound

Sony HT-CT770 Home Theater Soundbar

The Sony HT-CT770 is a thunderous-sounding soundbar thanks to its wireless subwoofer, but even with Bluetooth it's better with movies and games than it is with music.

Large, powerful sound field. Well-balanced with booming subwoofer. Excellent movie and video game audio. Built-in Bluetooth. Supports HDMI.

Music sounds tinny with soundbar turned down. No simulated surround features.

Conclusion The soundbar half of the Sony HT-CT770 is attractive and full of connectivity options, but its performance isn't as impressive, thanks to almost no power in the low-mids and lower end. On its own, it's tinny and overly bright, and...

Preview: If the Sony name on the HT-CT770 SoundBar with Wireless sub and HT-XT1 Sound Platform don't sell units, the prices certainly will. At $449 and $299 respectively, these are priced to move.

The Sony HT-CT770 is a powerful soundbar with an S-Master amplifier, twin speakers with built-in tweeters and woofers, and a separate dedicated wireless subwoofer. You can stream music wirelessly from a compatible device via Bluetooth.

Not too shabby at all!

Bought this bad boy a month ago and I don't think I could be happier. Much better than the sound coming out of the TV and the wireless sub is a bonus. I run a gaming system and cable through it and have had no issues. Great job Sony!
