Tannoy Revolution DC4

Reference grade audio is a rare exception in the home entertainment space. When you're looking at buying a TV, there is only so much you can really sp...

Great bass considering no subwoofer, detailed mid-range, wonderful highs, impressive separation

A little analytical at times, revealing sound may bring out the flaws in your music

Another brilliant speaker set from Tannoy, users looking to take the next step beyond a home-theatre-in-a-box setup will love the Revolution DC4s.

Tannoy Revolution DC4 review

Tiny Tannoy aims for revolutionary sound quality

Great sound ; Low coloration ; Good imaging

Needs subwoofer for missing bass ; Difficult setup

This attractive-looking, loudspeaker is capable of a coherent sound with low coloration and good imaging. But bass is so restricted, it needs a subwoofer to supply the missing bottom octaves

Tannoy Revolution DC4 review

They might be small, but we found these Tannoys come complete with a big, sonic heart

Powerful, direct midrange ; focused, cohesive soundstage ; neat design

Lack bass weight and depth ; treble could sound clearer

They may be small of stature but the Tannoys have a huge sonic heart

Tannoy Revolution DC4

Small but perfectly formed Very focused and detailed sound Adequate bass for my setup (near field monitors in a small study, wall mounted and connected to a Denon RCDN7)

In a bigger room they would benefit from adding a sub.
