Vizio VHT210

Sound bar home theater system; compact design, especially the wireless subwoofer; no AV receiver required; better-than-average sound on two-channel music; excellent remote control design; useful "SRS True Volume" control.

No HDMI connectivity; only two inputs (one optical digital, one analog stereo); may not get loud enough for some; no DTS decoding.

The Vizio VHT210 sound bar sports an uncommonly compact design and sounds better playing music than the average in its class, but its input options are limited.

Great product

 

The first unit I got did not have the subwoofer synched. I couldn't get it to synch, nor could the support center, so I took it back. The second one worked perfectly. The sound is great and the bass can kick!

Works great

 

I've had this for almost a year now and am very pleased. None of the problems noted by other reviewers. Great system for the price.

Good sound quality. Nice bass with the subwoofer. Able to program universal remote

Sometimes the subwoofer will "delink" from the bar. This requires powering off and on again

Horrible

 

Vizio has horrible customer service. Spent the money on a HK receiver and polk speakers and have been in heaven. Buy once, cry once.

Form factor, Sound is pretty good when upgrading from tv speakers

Optical port is so poorly built it WILL break on you. After only unplugging it maybe three times on the first one it broke and will not hold the cable any longer. Exchanged the sound bar and got a new monster optical cable failed first try plugging it...

Don't waste you time and money. Save for something better.

Wow

 

Got it in a few days of ordering it. I think it took longer to get it out of the box then to hook it up. Sound is very good for a soundbar. The lights to indicate volume quit working already is only problem. That's not that big of a deal to me though....

I would recommend this to anyone that wants more sound w/o the 5 or 7 speaker systems and can't afford the Bose systems. It has crystal clear sound and great bass. The wireless sub works great and I have it set about 4 notches below halfway and you can...
