Wharfedale Diamond 9.CS review: Wharfedale Diamond 9.CS

Wharfedale Diamond 9.CS

First-class build quality; curvy center speaker; twin 5-inch woofers; 1-inch tweeter; all-metal biwire connectors.

Somewhat expensive; the curved cabinet isn't really suitable for wall mounting.

Wharfedale's dressed-to-the-nines center speaker shines with the Diamond line's towers and satellites.

Wharfedale Diamond 9.0

Looking for great value, compact stereo budget speakers? Look no further, the Diamond 9.0s are little gems

Great sound from tiny cabinets ; ideal for budget separates or a micro system ; build quality ; positional flexibility

Lack the scale available from larger speakers

Bargain speakers with surprisingly good sound

I was on the lookout for an upgrade to my rear surround speakers and had my eye on these at 50 quid. When they dropped to 39.99 I found myself driving to Richer Sounds the very next day. After a a good few hours of gently breaking them in it was time...

pleasing sound , good build quality , perfect rear surround speakers

Punch above their weight

If you're looking for a small compact speaker to sit on your bookshelf or side boards, you can't go wrong with these speakers. Make sure you break them in well for a couple of days and they will give a very good acoustic sound that fills the room rather...

Punch well above their weight

These are a very small pair of speakers, which put out alot of noise. Well built, though without any type of feet. I put some little sticky rubber feet on to help them on a glass shelf. I am using them in a conservatory run off the living room amp's...

Smooth sounding

Hey, they are Wharfedale's, one of the best British speaker companies. Nice little boxes that produce a clear sound and good musically. Not strong in the bass, but what there is, is clear enough. Back against a wall or a shelf, they produce a bit more...

smooth clear precise

Great value. Great sound.

I bought these small speakers to save room compared to some old Mission speakers (and their stands )that were taking up too much room in my lounge. The new Wharefedales are linked up to my veteran NAD 3020i amp and the results are fantastic. I was...

great build quality , great sound , powerful for their size , a lot of speaker for the money
