XtremeMac MicroBlast

The XtremeMac MicroBlast is an iPod speaker/dock designed for the iPod nano. This 1-inch-thick black plastic speaker consists of four small drivers (3 watts per channel) behind a metal grille. It has a folding clear-plastic cover that swings around to...

Compact size.

Sounds a bit tinny. No auxiliary line input or headphone jack.

At $119.95, the XtremeMac MicroBlast is not exactly a bargain, but it makes a good gift for iPod nanophiles. The sound quality is a bit tinny, but it's good enough for a desk in an office or a hotel room.
