iPad Pro (2024) review: the best tablet I’ve ever used

The iPad Pro (2024) is unmatched. The tech here is almost unrivaled. The looks are magnificent. The keyboard is terrific. But it's not without its flaws.

Sublime OLED screen Lovely design and build Top-notch speakers Surprisingly good battery life Blistering performance Excellent keyboard and stylus

iPadOS is achingly lacking It's extremely expensive Pricey accessories

“The iPad Pro (2024) is an unbelievably powerful and well-crafted machine. If you want the best tablet money can buy, this is the one to get.”

Apple iPad Pro 11 (2024) review

The new iPad Pro models represent a solid advancement for the lineup. The iPads finally switched to 120Hz OLED screens, and they also got the latest Apple...

Superb thin and lightweight no-nonsense design.

Expensive.

We liked this iPad Pro and kudos to Apple for making a prominent leap forward. We do recommend exploring it as an option and we think a lot of people will like it, especially those who own a pre-2022 model.

Apple iPad Pro (2024) Review

Premium design ; Brilliant OLED display ; Unparalleled performance ; Flexible connectivity options ; Top cameras for a tablet

Expensive ; Pricey accessories ; iPadOS can be clunky

Apple's M4-powered iPad Pro is a highly capable tablet with an impressive display, leading performance, and enough storage for a lifetime, though iPadOS still has some limitations.

Review: Apple iPad Pro (M4, 2024)

The iPad Pro comes equipped with an all-new M4 chip. It's built on a second-generation three-nanometer processor (packing more transistors into a smaller space, enhancing both power efficiency and speed). It has a CPU that can handle up to 10 cores,...

Nice OLED display. Slightly larger screen size on bigger model. M4 chip. Thinner and lighter. Double the base storage. Landscape camera. The new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro extend its capabilities.

Expensive. The M4’s full potential might be locked behind a future software update. Still just a single USB-C port. iPadOS continues to be frustrating to use.

The iPad Pro feels unfinished. With no evidence of what exactly makes the M4 chip all that revolutionary just yet, it's tough to recommend right now—especially for the price. The most expensive iPad Pro configuration (13-inch with nano-texture glass, 2...

iPad Pro M4 (2024) review: big, bad, but now thinner!

The iPad Pro always has supercharged hardware — enough to run desktop-class apps and console-grade games. Literally, with games like Resident Evil and Assassin's Creed: Mirage already out for or headed for iPads with any M-class chip. But it is quite...

Thin, light, and pretty New tandem OLED is awesome Apple M4 is the king in any mobile device Thunderbolt port for extremely fast transfer speeds Good, well-balanced battery life New Magic Keyboard and selfie camera bring it closer to laptop experience

Expensive on its own, exorbitant when you add accessories Speakers sound good, but suffered a slight downgrade Apple M4 is awesome, but doesn't get to stretch its legs too much

iPad Pros are great — they run fast and smooth, their displays are awesome, and they can do... some stuff. They are definitely not laptop-like, so if you intend to be a "digital nomad" with one — take into consideration that an iPad still favors the...

iPad Pro (2024) review: Apple's most advanced tablet is no MacBook, and I'm okay with that

The M4 iPad Pro is faster, thinner, and more powerful than ever, but I wouldn't bank on WWDC making the tablet more like a Mac.

Tandem OLED display gets plenty bright ; M4 processor is fast, reliable, and for everyone ; Strongest accessory ecosystem yet ; Thinner, lighter design makes this the most advanced Apple product yet

iPadOS still feels inconsistent and limited ; Accessories are expensive but almost mandatory

Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) review: creative freedom

The iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) lets you put your foot down with video editing and photo fixing

You are a smartphone video maker who uses multiple iPhones ; You want to edit HD video and large RAW files ; Want maximum processing power from that M4 chip ; If you already edit clips and stills on a recent MacBook

Apple iPad Pro (M4, 2024) review: is there such a thing as too powerful?

A mighty iPad just hit the shelves last month but who is it aimed at and did we need it yet?

Insanely fast ; Future-proofed with the M4 ; Ultra retina XDR display

Expensive ; Overpowered ; Little software ready for this level of chip

Another amazing piece of creative hardware from Apple. If you aren’t a professional creative or power user then this is overkill in most cases. Aesthetically this is the best option you can get at 5.1mm thick, glare free glass, Apple Pencil Pro ready...

Apple iPad Pro M4 2024 Review

The iPad Pro M4 2024 is a wonderful piece of hardware. It's the first product powered by the M4 chip, which will eventually signal Apple's march towards an AI computing future. It's also not for everyone.

Amazing screen ; The 13-inch model is so thin and light ; Big upgrades to the accessories ; Landscape front camera

The whole package is very expensive ; iPadOS still has issues ; No charger in certain regions

Is the iPad Pro M4 2024 the best tablet I have ever reviewed? Yes, there’s no question about it. Is it the one I would tell everyone to buy? Probably not. If you do make the purchase though, you won’t be disappointed. This is Apple’s hardware at its...
