Asus Eee Slate B121

Product has not yet been reviewed by PCMag.com editors.

The Asus Eee Slate B121 is equipped with a first-generation Intel Core i5-470UM processor with 2GB of RAM. It's the same 1.33GHz dual-core processor seen in last year's Lenovo IdeaPad U260, and offers a full-fledge 64-bit Windows 7 experience in a slim...

Utterly Disappointed

One other thought: The battery life initially advertised with this really was optimistic. Fortunately, we have a power convertor to allow us to use this in the car without worrying about battery life.

Windows 7 capability in a slate form. Overall, if this had worked reliably, it would have been a GREAT product. When it worked, it worked as intended, allowing us to get work done while traveling

This device has been unreliable from the start. Initial setup was tedious. It took many hours to get all of the Windows updates installed. But the bigger problem is that for the past couple of weeks (just when we need it most as school is restarting)...

Great idea - but not this version

Conceptually - love this. Unfortunately - the stylus was unusable - it wrote from over an inch above the surface and left a trailing line everywhere you didn't write. Had difficulty seeing targets to click on - everything was tiny - in spite of...

The Best Tablet Out There

1st The price is a little high. That's my only complaint. Right out of the box I was amazed. I've had other windows tablets and none of them worked like a normal PC except this one. I couldn't believe the processing speed. Anything I plugged into the...

finally a USEFUL tablet

I purchased two of these for work over the iPAD and Transformer. You simply cannot beat FULL Windows in tablet form for productivity. No need to find an "app" for anything, this is like your work desktop machine only in your lap. I work with Oracle,...

The screen/glass is beautiful on the Slate ; Full OS, load anything you want on it...no need to find an "app ; Being a full OS, you can use the two USB ports for any USB device you like...drag n drop thumbdrives, ext hard drives, ext cd drives, ext...

NOT really cons ; I cant really say battery life is a "con"...just more of an acceptable trade off. I get around 4 hours of use, 3 if I'm working it hard. Sure battery life could be better and its not the 10+ hours of smaller Android/iPad tablets, but...

Not mad...just disappointed

I used to be a HUGE Asus fanboy, but their support has gone in the toilet. I've contacted them 3 times (which could either indicate quality issues or simply a lemon). Once they told me I had to ship back my entire laptop for a power supply that went...

Nice screen, Great i5 processor

One memory slot, Poor quality Power Supply and Keyboard, Horrific support

Perfect Slate

I get 4hrs or more use with wifi and bluetooth on just surfing web. 2-2.5hrs working it hard, and watching youtube isn't working it hard. I can use my Motorola Atrix 4G as a mouse. This makes a great "companion" pc to your desktop when you are home. if...

A FULL computer in a Slate form factor. Finally, a digital notepad. Been waiting 10yrs for that. Onenote rocks on this! I can run anything i want on this including virtual machines

I just couldn't remove an egg for battery considering it's size and power

So much promise BUT.....

We bought five (5) of these units. Beautiful to look at and fast BUT:1. Blue screen of death on all FIVE units with a Microsoft 5000 BT mouse. Updated drivers - no change. ASUS technical support has not replied to our requests for help in SEVEN days.2....

Great product

Well, as far as tablets goes this one is a little on the pricey side. I very happy with it. Works better than I would have expected. Touch Screen works great, all thought it can be a little frustrating at time with larger finger. But with the included...

Very Nice...

Looks like this may no longer be available, but I would recomment getting it if possible.

It's actually pretty powerful and fast considering it's running full blown Windows 7. It has 2 USB port which allows me to use an external ASUS Blu-ray drive and watch movies (after installing CyberLink PowerDVD). I know the the touch-screen...

Using a touch-sceen for Windows 7 isn't as easy as other OSs designed for that purpose (although Windows 8 is suppose to be much better). Once and a while, the touch-screen locks and have to press the keyboard button to free it back up, minor issue...
