The Asus FonePad is a well-built tablet, but a ridiculous phone concept

It won't be released in the U.S., but the Asus FonePad is available to U.K. customers now. It's a good 7-inch tablet, but is a pretty silly phone concept.

Asus Fonepad Note FHD 6 is a promising phablet but lacks 4G

The 6-inch phone-tablet hybrid will feature 3G connectivity and a 1080p screen.

ASUS Fonepad Review

We review ASUS Fonepad, which is their 7-inch tablet which can double as a display.

as they can offer you a much better experience than the Fonepad can.

Review Asus Fonepad ME371MG Tablet

Like a brick on your ear. Samsung's Note kicked off the ongoing wave of large smartphones, aka phablets. Now, Asus joins in with its big 7-inch Fonepad, nominally a tablet to make phone calls. It will definitely attract attention when held to an ear -...

Good workmanship, Rigid casing, Contrast rich display, High viewing angle stability, Good speech quality, The idea of the Fonepad is not brand new, but interesting. The concept has been well-implemented

Headset not included, Screen's low brightness, Low-quality camera, Incompatibilities of Intel's platform, Very weak PSU, A headset and a better camera. Maybe even a second camera providing the quality is better

Asus Fonepad Review

Is it a phone or is it a tablet? Well, it is a little bit of both, actually. Here we have the Asus Fonepad – a 7-inch Android slate with 3G connectivity and an earpiece allowing it to make phone calls. It is a peculiar device, to say the least, yet...

Solid build quality ; microSD card slot ; 3G connectivity for cellular data ; Can make phone calls, send/receive text messages

Not powerful enough for serious gaming

Although it can make calls and send text messages, the Asus Fonepad is clearly not an ideal smartphone replacement, although you can totally use it as one. Just bear in mind that the tablet isn't made to be carried in a pocket, obviously, and its call...

ASUS Fonepad Review

The ASUS Fonepad is excellent as a compact tablet PC. It is easy to use, fast, intuitive, and the screen is bright, crisp, with vivid colors. It is light and easy to carry in a small purse or a big jacket pocket. However, if you buy a Fonepad to be your...

ASUS Fonepad review

Take a 7-inch ASUS Android tablet, add an earpiece and a dialer, and what comes out is the Fonepad. The ASUS Fonepad — mainly tablet, but also part phone. And ASUS is definitely...

just phone. Sadly that wait continues.

Asus Fonepad

Not to be confused with the Asus Padfone , the Asus Fonepad offers a hybrid phone and tablet experience. At 7", the device is fairly unwieldy for critics to use as a regular phone without the aid of a headset. Most experts agree that it won't replace a...

Excellent battery life, Display offers crisp details and good viewing angles, Connects to 3G network without tethering, Good day-to-day performance

Slight lag when opening and using apps, Mediocre call quality, Bad bright light legibility
