A decent deal for a refurb

But with Newegg Premiere there were no extra costs for me. And they got shipped back to me quickly. I finally got a keeper in the middle of September 2015(after getting the first on in mid August). I installed Windows 10 on the Asus right away and have...

small and quick. Can be upgraded to Windows 10

It took several tries to get one without an issue. I knocked off one egg for that. The first few I got had different issues. The Micro SD card sticks out a little and isn't flush.

For you folks having trouble w/ charging or restarting...

Take the tablet apart starting near the hinge points. I used a credit card to open mine. Then when you get all the snaps pushed in using the credit card (by sliding the card along the open seam), remove the back. Lay the unit down and find the battery....

Worst purchase ever

Buy ANYTHING other than ASUS - I have bought Dell, Lenovo, built my own - I would never by another ASUS product after this HORRIBLE experience !!!!!

Completely abandoned by ASUS support less than one year after purchase, no product support, no assistance whatsover, no online help - nothing ! I am yelling into a black hole, and they could care less now that I bought the product !

6 of one, half-dozen of the other

I purchased two of this product a little over 4 months ago. There was no way I was going to get away with having one for myself and not have one available for my wife. Overall, I enjoy using this. I take it with me to work to do some lite music...

- Convenience of a Tablet and a small portable laptop - Full Windows 10 after free download and install

- Will not boot to bootable USB no matter how many things I have tried (Update the BIOS, WIndows 10 Advanced Start-Up Options, etc.) - Windows "Restart" function does not actually restart - Will no longer recharge (See Other Comments)

Not a good product!

- This model seems to have a lot of power issues and there appears to be almost no options to get it running again.

- The size and functionality of the tablet and detachable keyboard was good.

- Battery was always draining, never held a charge for long and recently has stopped working altogether. I have purchased a new power supply and while the light shows white the tablet will no longer power up. This was a refurbished unit but I expected...

Snuck me in a 1GB model that stopped charging after a couple of months

I can't really recommend a product that doesn't last more than a couple of months. It was really a disappointment to find this lack of quality in a major manufacturer.

Overall good

I would have liked them to point out any parts that were not so great on this computer, but being refurbished i am very happy with my purchase.

Really good for the money i had paid for it

As this was a refurbished computer, it had some little defects, like only one of the two speakers working (which really sucks as i am really into music production)

MICROSOFT STORE MAY BE ABLE TO HELP WITH WINDOWS 10

I took it to the Microsoft Store. Initially they thought they could get it to upgrade to Windows 10. They couldn't. They also had trouble getting Windows 10 to activate. However, Microsoft was finally able to get a clean install of Windows 10 to work...

Nice machine for the money when it runs.

Like many others, I had trouble upgrading the machine. With Windows 8.1 it would try to install a service pack and spend hours backing it out. I could not get it to upgrade to Windows 10.
