Le Pan II TC979 Android Tablet Review

The Le Pan II is much improved over the original Le Pan tablet with a faster processor, more memory and it runs Android 3.2 with a free upgrade to 4.0 when it

– Price ; – Great performance ; – Runs Android 3.2 with a future upgrade to 4.0 ; – Speakers are quite loud ; – Great overall feel

– Volume button implementation could be better

I was a huge supporter of the original Le Pan TC970 tablet. I have looked at a lot of tablets over the past few years and Le Pan did so much right with their original tablet. That is why I was really excited that they were coming out with the second...

Nice little tablet

I really like this tablet. It's fast, the screen size is good and resolution is very sharp. The only bad thing is that it is not very good while playing YouTube videos it constantly buffers, especially when playing in HD. I don't have those problems...

Affordable, fast processor, quality display

Laggy while playing YouTube

Dissapointing Support

Good looking product with great screen resolution. Easy to use interface. It would be nice to include a fabric pouch

In March of this year, I bought A LePan tablet as a testing device for website programming. While this tablet lived up to expectations at first it started losing functionality and connectivity by month three. This Table is only used a few times a week...

Not too shabby

Was losing my wi-fi connection. Found out you have to turn off wi-fi disconnect in the screen time out mode. Factory defaults have wi-fi disconnet when screen times out to save on battery life. Once I turned that off, all issues were resolved and no...

Owned for 48hrs. Like always, fast shipping with newegg. Tablet feels solid and is pretty snappy on the apps and network. Hope it will last. Will update if problems occur

Shows lots of finger prints and glare on screen. Hope to resolve with screen protector

Pretty nice table

For less than half of an iPad, it has been great. My wife replaced her netbook with this.

Light, nice screen, quick processor

Can't easily find the volume button as it is not raised, no camera on the back (has front facing for video chat/skype)

Great tablet, unless it stops working

The tablet worked great for the first day but when I powered it off it would not turn back on. I contacted Le Pan directly and they quickly responded with steps for me to return the tablet for a replacement. I had to pay to ship it to them but about 10...

Fast, low cost, good screen, solid

Excellent Tablet

I see their is a lot of people having WiFi issues. People are leaving bad feed back on this tablet, when it is not the device that is bad.You have to understand that this tablet uses WiFi signal to connect to the internet.:Key word: wifi (signal)I have...

It has a nice professional build and feels solid, no cheap plastic feel here. All quality ; Fast processor, boots in about 30 seconds, quick start on apps, and can run many with no problems ; It has a 4:3 aspect ratio like the Ipad, which I find more...

no usb,no hdmi,a little screen bleeding in the lower right hand corner of the tablet, web cam could be more better

WiFi

As an aside, all three tablets had at least some kind of screen defect. The first one (which I have yet to return) has many defects that I can't tolerate. The other two screens had smaller defects, which I would accept if the wifi worked properly. I've...

If this tablet didn't have the wifi issues, it would be a five egger. The specs are perfect for what I need. The design is fine, it feels solid, it's snappy with all the apps and screen transitions, the battery lasts sufficiently long and it has full...

I've now gone through three of these tables (Le Pan II). The first one worked perfectly on wifi, never disconnected, never had any issues downloading large files and it obtained an IP address the first second. The problem was the screen. There were a...
