The breville toasts bread, muffins and etc. to a nice golden brown quickly. We find it's best to turn it down a notch for second batches or the second lot might be a bit overdone.

I chose this toaster based on price and looks and I am not disappointed. I wanted a simple non-fussy model. Easy to clean & polishes up nicely.

I exchanged this toaster for another one, as it toasted one side much more than the other. However, the replacement wasn't much better so I returned it and exchanged it for a different brand. Sadly, the replacement wasn't much better!

Although overpriced in my view, it is a beautifully designed kitchen object - my criteria for purchase together with the fact it matches the Kettle from the same range.
