Dualit 72664 Stoneware Basalt Finish Jug Kettle

The quality in this kettle is very poor, and does not reflect the high price. But I would still buy other Dualit products, as my toaster is dualit and it is superb.

i bought this 2 weeks ago and i love it, it has a very rapid boil and looks really smart.

I would have kept this kettle had it not been for the bad/poor finish - by the view screen you could see the dried glue from the Matt black finish. For the high price, I would expect a much better finish. The Best Buy is definitely the chrome with black.

This kettle looks great in the kitchen but it is quite loud near the mid-end of boiling. The outside is like a grainy finish and if scratched or knocked it is easily marked.

Bit smaller great for me, knob on lid and position of handle mean don't get burnt, nice and quiet to boil, has cups on window so you know how many cups you have in kettle so much better than one using before
