Graef Long Slot 2-Slice Toaster

We think this toaster is great - takes up little space and makes great toast.

We chose this for its simplistic design and 2 slice capacity. Sadly not up to scratch. It can't hold 2 slices of English sliced bread (maybe German bread is different!). So we swapped it for a Kenwood which is awesome.

I had bought a cheap toaster from a supermarket which didn't work from the outset. Took it back and bought this and have been delighted. Looks sleek, works very well and feels like proper quality.

This is not on show in John Lewis but we chose it because of its looks and the need to have a toaster that could heat pittas. We are pleased with the design, but have two points to make. One is that we are surprised about the amount of heat that comes...
