It browns both sides evenly matches the kettle

Top of side walls gets a bit hot

Looks wonderful, solid well made, bought to match the Prestige almond kettle (to which i give a 10 out of 10 rating, honestly it's perfect)

Although I've given a high rating on ease of use appearance and design, the the low rating given on value and overall rating is simply because it doesn't toast both sides the same. Setting 3 is too light, setting 4 burns and setting 3.1/2 burns one...

Produces good reasonably even toasted bread, Fairly deep recesses so can take full size bread. If you do not have power switched on the lever to push bread down will not function which means you can not forget to switch power on and return to un cooked...

Toasting takes a little longer than my last toaster. The elements do not come high enough in the slots to toast the top of large slices of bread. The toasting settings could do with going a bit higher as i like crumpets well done and even on the...
