The elements do not heat up evenly. On right hand side toast is not cooked enough even on full setting. I don't know if these problems are typical of this model? I probably should have returned the toaster!

Very easy to use and I found that it toasts all 4 slices evenly. Good value for money.

Design

Have to toast bread 1½ - 2 times before browned on highest setting, using more electricity than necessary. Bought this toaster to replace a Kenwood toaster with the same problem. Not impressed, would like to return.

It looks very sleek and nicely complements my stainless steel breville kettle. Having seperate plungers, release mechanisms and heat settings for each pair of grilling slots makes it quite flexible to cook different bread types according to preference.

The heat settings do not seem to go high enough for my personal taste. I tend to toast slices of bread straight from the freezer and on the highest heat setting they come out barely toasted and need doing again. With fresh bread it works perfectly well.

good looking toaster and makes perfect toast , fantastic value for money as I bought in the sale I have to say I had one before and it lasted 10 years! fab buy would recommend.
