Collpases the loaf, bad odor

Marginally okay to use and it should be slightly better once the odor goes away. It could be collapsing the loafs because some of the yeast is killed by the teflon contamination but I have no proof this is happening. Or it could be collapsing the loads...

Looks good in black instead of the usual white bread machines, large variety of different loafs can be made, easy to use menu with customization and it can make large loafs.

I've been making my own bread using a drill with a batter attachment for over a year and I've never killed the yeast, collapsed a loaf, or wasted a loaf and I've had consistent results making 1-2 loafs per day since June 2011. I got this bread machine...

What a great value!

I'd highly recommend this breadmaker for the novice or experienced baker!

Easy to use, many options and varieties, baked a perfect loaf each time I've tried so far, haven't sampled the jam setting. I like that it makes horizontal loaves and has multiple size options, too. What an excellent value, especially for the price! I...

Doesn't have a sourdough setting, which the $300 models offer... not a bad con, though, right?

Handy thing to have

I would buy one again. I think it's paid for itself by now.

I thought I'd use it more for bread than dough, but then I found a great recipe for pizza dough. I make that once a week. It's also terrific for regular bread-shaped breads and I've made French bread and English muffins with it as well.

Not many. It's pretty large so if you want to leave it out you'll need room.

Twice the mixing awesomeness

I've only made a few loaves with this so far, but they have been impeccable, especially compared to previous bread machines I've owned. I am 100% satisfied.

Having gone through my third breadmaking machine just by wearing out the pan, this bread machine replacement has done a wonderfully delicious job at filling the role of our previous bread maker. The features of this machine compared to our last one is...

It doesn't make coffee.

Died

4 cups bread flour, 1.5 cups water, 1.5 tsp salt, 2.25 tsp yeast was the best recipe for me. Don't think I got mine at the egg.

Made good bread and dough. Made probably 60-70 loaves, plus pizza dough on occasion.

Died after 22 months. Midway through a loaf, the paddles disengaged internally. The motor was still going, and the bread baked up fine, but it can no longer knead dough. At >$1 per loaf just for the machine, not sure if it's worth the convenience.

Makes good bread

Makes very good bread, we average 2 to 3 loaves per week. Also usually 1 or 2 batches of pizza dough. No problems at all. Also has customizable options if you want your bread / dough made your way (like pretzels). I set it up to make bread when I go to...

None that I can find.
