I'm happy with this TV

First off, I'm not a TV Techie just someone who enjoys watching TV occasionally. We just finished a large family room addition and the crowning glory is our wide screen Hitachi with a DVD player and a Bose Surround Sound system. Now I can honestly say...

Quick set up, great picture

Internal Speakers weak ; wooden cabinet back is a rough surface that will likely collect dust

Hitachi 51" HDTV Projection Monitor (51F500)

I have owned this TV for about 2 weeks now, and am very satisfied with it. The picture was crisp out of the box (although contrast was set to 'Flame On!') The color was very saturated, particularly the reds, but some tinkering with the color...

Great Picture, Easy Setup, Direct Access to Video Inputs, bright display, even at low contrast.

Flimsy remote, lack of control buttons on the TV itself.
