Nice 32" TV, but not 120 hz refresh rate

Apparently Hitachi is getting out of TV's for the American market, too bad (even though this TV is manufactured for them by Orion in China). The build quality of this TV is almost as good as my Sony.

Beautiful picture quality. More connections than the usual for a 32" LED TV. Overall pretty good quality for an entry-level LED TV. This size fit perfectly in a 33" wide oak media cabinet, and had all the right features and specs that I was looking for...

The Newegg description indicated a 120 hz LED refresh rate, so did the box, so does the Hitachi website. Pressing the "Info" button on the remote will show "1080P / 60 hz, regardless of whatever input source. It displays objects in motion well enough,...

Defective Upon Receipt

I sure hope the replacement works because this is a great deal! The only reason it is not a one (1) star is because of the price I paid at $349. Of course that only bought me a 25 inch screen. YMMV.

The TV is extremely light, as in single handed light. This is a fairly minimalist TV with only a few HDMI ports.

The TV upon immediate receipt had dead pixels on literally half of the TV screen, that is approximately 25 inches of dead pixel TV screen viewing.

Amazing TV for the money!!

I would DEFINITELY recommend this product to ANYONE and EVERYONE! This TV is pure WIN!!

- Colors are superb compared to any other LED TV I've personally seen. - Extremely light...Maybe 5 lbs?? (I was surprised by this, considering the last Hitachi TV I owned weighed about 15-20 lbs and yes it was an LED TV) - Price! (32" LED TV that's...

- I'm not sure if this is a "con" but the remote is a bit "bland" looking and not as responsive as I would've liked but it gets the job done just the same.

Roku is no good

Roku is a terrible company, everyone I know who has a roku product, barely got a couple of months use before the device stops working. Youtube app never works,( google it) and they dont plan on fixing it.

Tv is decent, light, super thin

Roku stopped working within a month. Roku support just says turn it off and on over and over again. Just not worth it. Buy a smart tv or chromecast, it'll last longer

Hitachi LE32E6R9

Wish I could give it 3.5 eggs rating, it's better then a 3 but not quite 4. If you can get it for under $420 then it's not a bad deal but for the $470 I paid I had higher expectations. The Roku seems to be better then most smart tv systems I've used...

Legacy VGA input that is becoming harder to find on new TV's. Stylish bezel and stand. Decent picture if you have a high quality source, a notch above the no-name brands. 5 band eq for audio instead of basic bass and treble control.

Black levels aren't the best, always either to dark or to washed out, speakers rattle if the bass is over 48%. Picture quality in general isn't as good as others in the price range especially if the source isn't HD. Settings for video quality are...

Great TV and as Monitor

I see no reason to buy a regular computer monitor unless you are looking for more than 1080p resolution and more than 32". Lots of features at a great price.

I was looking for a new monitor for a desktop build. They were priced at $175 and above for decent 27" ones. Then this came along on sale so I figured I would try it out. Outstanding. Very flexible user adjustments to picture for watching TV and...

Sound is decent, but lacks the "base" quality that some people my want. Fine for TV, if streaming a music service you may want to use a supplemental speaker system for more volume, depth and frequency output
