JVC LT-32DE9BJ 32in LCD TV / PVR

A 32in JVC TV with integrated Humax PVR for under £550. Now that's tempting!

Please note, however, that you can only record digital channels on the built-in PVR. Sadly, stuff coming in from the AV inputs and even the analogue tuner is off limits.

Freeview+ certified ; Records two channels at once ; Fair price

No analogue recording ; Poor black levels ; No 1080p/24fps support

A middling to good performer, but Freeview+ recording makes it a good second-room option

It might not set the world alight, but this HDD-toting JVC is a solid performer at a solid price

Superb Freeview pictures; twin-tuners and 160GB hard disk for recording; decent disc playback; reasonable sound

Won't handle 1080p; doesn't challenge the best where DVD and Blu-ray playback is concerned

Easy to install. It replaces an old 20" analog TV in our dining room. My wife finds that TV remote controls are improving, ease of use. And having only a single contol for TV and recording programmes on the 160GB HHD makes life less complicated. We...

Integrated Hard drive & Freeview.......Only 1 remote control now, when usually 3 or 4 required for tv/sat/dvd/freeview box etc.

If a DVD player was integrated as in smaller tv's , this would then be the perfect all in one package.

goes through 30 seconds of startup everytime you switch it on, even when it's on standby

solid performer in every way. Great integration of the "hidden" humax freeview box. I wanted a quality hd ready TV but as I dont yet have any hd sources wanted a sterling performer on freeview until i do have bluray etc. Very happy with it.

got annoying hum after a couple of days. eventually tracked down to the incoming aerial lead vibrating at the connection. By bracing it no longer hums
